GeraQuest RPG: Your First Quest Walkthrough

Quick answer: The opening quest “The Citizen Covenant” has three branching endings. Pick Healer or Scholar for the peaceful route; Courier or Auditor for the investigative route; Merchant for the negotiated route. Each ending unlocks a different region of the Gera Realm.

Act 1: Arrival in Gera-Prime

You arrive at Gera-Prime with no memory. Dr Anahit (also the hospital head in GeraCity) heals you at the Clinic. The first choice: do you trust her? Say yes — she becomes a companion in Act 2.

Act 2: Pick a class

Five classes unlock at the end of Act 1. See the full class guide. For first-run, Healer is safest; Courier is fastest; Merchant is richest.

Act 3: The Covenant

You learn the Citizen Covenant exists and is at risk. Three ways to act on this:

  • Peaceful route (Healer/Scholar): convince the Auditors to investigate openly.
  • Investigative route (Courier/Auditor): break into Outside Holdings' archives.
  • Negotiated route (Merchant): broker a public contract that exposes the threat.

Endings and unlocks

  • Peaceful ending: Unlocks the Temple Region (northern map).
  • Investigative ending: Unlocks the Auditor Vaults (eastern map).
  • Negotiated ending: Unlocks the Markets of Gera-South (southern map).

You can replay Act 3 to unlock the other regions. New Game+ unlocks a fourth, hidden ending.

Key items to collect

  • Anahit's Sigil (given in Act 1) — unlocks healing shortcuts.
  • The Merchant's Token (hidden chest in Act 2) — +20% gold.
  • The Covenant Fragment (drops from the Act 3 boss) — used in New Game+.
